Here you will find answers to questions about registering, logging in and the My Work Pension service. If you have a question that isn't answered here, please contact us.

Registration & Logging in

Registration is a quick and easy 3 step process. You will need your membership reference number which can be found on any personalised communication that you receive from us, for example a benefit statement or a quote. You will also need your National Insurance Number to hand.

Don’t have a Membership reference number

Your Membership Reference Number is a unique number to you. You can find it on any personalised communication that you receive from us. It consists of 11 or 12 digits and is made up of alpha characters and numbers. You need this number to register and log-on to My Work Pension.

If you have not yet registered and do not know your membership reference number you can request one from us. Please complete the contact us form and we will send your membership reference number to you.

If your Scheme has not yet signed up to My Work Pension then you will be unable to register.

Your Scheme may not have signed up yet because:

  1. Trafalgar House have only recently taken on the responsibility to administer your Scheme. If this is the case, you will have received a welcome booklet from us telling you about our services and when My Work Pension will be available to you.

  2. Your Scheme may have a website not provided by My Work Pension. The web address for this current Scheme website can be found on any recent correspondence that you have received from us. Your Scheme Trustee may decide to move your existing Scheme website to My Work Pension in the future.

When My Work Pension becomes available for your Scheme we will write to you to tell you how to register, log on and manage your account.

For security reasons, we have not transferred your log in details from your previous scheme website to My Work Pension and you must register for My Work Pension. This is a quick and easy 3 step process:

If you have forgotten the answer to your security question you will need to contact us. We will need to reset your account and you will be asked to re-register.

Use the Contact Us form to advise us of a change of address. Once we have validated your request and updated your account, we will email you to let you know so that you can continue with the registration process.

Once registered, the first thing you will be asked is to confirm how you would like to be communicated with. Your preferences are saved and can be changed by you at any time.

Our Service

We use the latest security measures to protect your data online, including secure log-on and automatic log-off. But there are also things that you must do to prevent fraud:

  • Remember that we will never ask for your password or log in details. If you receive any requests, report it to us.

  • Don’t use a password that can be easily guessed and don’t share your log in details or password with others.

  • Always update your computer, tablet and smartphone's operating system and web browser software. Always use anti-virus software to protect your devices.

You will be able to manage your personal details, see your current pension amounts and a variety of information about the Scheme. You may also have access to tools that provide estimates of your retirement income from the Scheme. There is a regular news feed about pensions, your Scheme and Trafalgar House.

When you are logged on, you will see the last time you logged on. If this does not look right to you please contact us immediately and we will reset your account.

From time to time, the website will not be available due to planned development work to improve the services that we provide. We will notify you of this in advance and keep any downtime to a minimum.
